- Qualification: 1. Flying : Bachelor Degree in Any Stream with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 Level / B.E / B.Tech Course
  2. Ground Duty Technical Branch :
  Aeronautical Engineering Electronics : 10+2 Intermediate Minimum 60% Marks in Physics and Math and Minimum 4 Year Graduation / Integrated PG Degree in Engineering / Technology
  Aeronautical Engineering Mechanical : Candidates with Minimum 60% Marks Each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 Level and 4 Year Engineering / Technology Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or Equivalent Degree
  3. Ground Duty Non-Technical Branch:
  Administration and Logistics: Bachelor Degree in Any Stream with at Least Minimum 60% Marks
  Accounts : Bachelor Degree in Commerce B.Com with at Least Minimum 60% Marks
  Education : MBA / MCA / MA / M.Sc Degree at Least Minimum 50% Marks
  Meteorology : Master Degree in Any Stream in Any Recognized University in India.
  Physical Eligibility: Height Male : 157.5 CMS; Female : 152 CM
- Age limit: 20-26 Years (Between 02/01/1993 to 01/01/1999)
  20-24 Years as on 01/01/2019 for Flying
NCC Special Entry (Flying)
- Qualification: NCC Air Wing Senior Division ’C’ certificate and Other Details as per Flying Branch Eligibility
- Age limit: 20 - 24 Years
Metrology Entry (Ground Duty Non Technical)
- Qualification: Post Graduation Degree in any science stream/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Geography/ Computer Applications/ Environmental Science/ Applied Physics/ Oceanography/ Agricultural Meteorology/ Ecology & Environment/ Geo-physics/ Environmental Biology. All candidates should have scored a minimum 50% marks in aggregate in all papers of Post Graduation put together (provided Maths & Physics were studied at Graduation level with a minimum of 55% marks in both)
- Age limit: 20-26 Years

Pay Scale

Pay in Pay Band ( Common to all Branches ) - ₹56,100 Per Month (The officer will be placed in Level 10 in the Pay Matrix of VII th CPC - 56,100-69,000)
Military Service Pay :- ₹15,500 Per Month
