Age Limit
Between 21 and 27 years. The crucial date for determining age limit will be the closing date for receipt of application from the candidates i.e. 19 Mar 2018 including for the candidates of North East region.

- The candidate should have passed Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.
- Educational certificate other than State Board/Central Board should be accompanied with Government of India notification declaring that such qualification is equivalent to Matric/10th class pass for service under Central Government.
Ex- Serviceman
| Eligibility Criteria | Ex-Servicemen who are Lance Naik or Sepoy in the Army or equivalent rank in the Air Force or Navy having a trade of Driver are eligible to apply for the post of Constable/Driver & DCPO. Ex-servicemen holding the rank of Havildar/Naik or equivalent rank in the Army/Air Force/Navy and having trade of Driver may also compete in this recruitment for lower post provided they fulfill the eligibility criteria and also they furnish their willingness in writing that in the event of their selection they will not claim the post equivalent to the rank they were holding in the Defense Forces. |
| Education Qualification | Matriculation or equivalent or Army 1st class certificate or the equivalent of Air Force and Navy. |
| Age Limit | They shall be allowed to deduct the period of Army service from their actual age and the resultant age should not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for these posts by more than three years. The upper age limit shall be further relaxable up to 05 years in case of SC/ST candidates. |

Physical Endurance Test

The candidates must carry at least one photo bearing IDENTITY PROOF such as Driving License, Voter Card, Aadhar Card, Identity Card issued by University/College, Income Tax Pan Card in original to the examination centre, failing which THEY SHALL NOT BE ALLOWED TO APPEAR FOR THE EXAMINATION.
