Sikkim Police Recruitment 2018 - Job notification for 342 Constable Posts (GD Constable, GD Constable (Women), Constable Technical & Constable Technical (Female)) in Sikkim Police in Sikkim. Applications are invited by Sikkim Police from 29 Jan 2018 to 28 Feb 2018 for 342 vacancies.

The job applications for Sikkim Police Jobs 2018 will be accepted as per the attached application format before 28 Feb 2018.

Posts

GD Constable – 330 Posts
- Qualification:
  Minimum class X passed from recognized Board for open candidates as well as for HG candidates.
  Physical Requirements –
  (a) Height - 5'3" minimum for male; 5' min. for female
  (b) Chest - 32" min. with min. 2" expansion for male.
  (c) Weight - 50 Kgs. min. for male; 45 Kgs. min. for female
- Age limit:
  For General/ Unreserved Categories 18 — 22 years (As on 01/02/2018)
  Relaxation ( in Upper age limit ) 05 years for SC/ST candidates
  03 years for OBC candidates
  Upper age limit for HG candidates are 32 yrs. for BL/ST/SC/Primitive Tribe, 31 yrs. for OBC(CL) and 30 yrs. for OBC(SL)
- Vacancies: 330
- Vacancy Details:
  
  Male : 270 Posts (Open - 181 Post and HG - 89 Post)
  Female : 60 Posts (Open - 40 Post and HG - 20 Post)
Constable Technical – 12 Posts
- Qualification:
  Minimum class XII passed in PCM.
  The Physical Requirements, Age and Age Relaxation are the same as required for GD Constable above.

- Vacancy Details:
  
  Male : 10 Posts
  Female : 2 Posts

Pay Scale

pay band of ₹5200- 20200 plus grade pay of ₹2400

Selection Process

The selection will be on the basis of Physical Measurement, Physical Efficiency/Endurance Test (PET), Written Examination & Viva-voce.

How to Apply

Eligible candidates may submit their application in prescribed format (attached below) to Member Secretary Recruitment Board Dy. Inspector General of Police Special Branch on or before 28 Feb 2018, along with following documents:

(a) Sikkim Subject/COI,
(b) Valid local employment card,
(c) BL/ST/SC/OBC/BPL Certificate,
(d) Educational qualification certificate/mark sheet,
(e) Birth certificate,
(f) NOC from Head of Department in case of Govt. servant.

Mangan (Namphrikdang Ground, Upper Dzongu) :– 19th March, 2018 from 8 am.
Pipaley (IRB Camp) :– 23rd and 24th March, 2018 from 8 am daily.
Gangtok (Khel Gaon, Reshithang) :– 27th , 28th and 29th March, 2018 from 8 am daily
