- Loksabha Junior Clerk Result 2018: Loksabha has announced the Result on 25 Jan 2018 for Junior Clerk Exam 2017 which was conducted on 08 Oct 2017. The list of shortlisted candidates have been declared for appearing in the Main Examination on 24th and 25th February, 2018 for which call letters are being issued separately.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university and a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute in English/Hindi stream. Preference will be given to persons having typing speed of 40 words per minute both in English and Hindi.

Desirable: Certificate in computer course recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)/Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Courses (DOEACC) or courses equivalent to 'O' Level in terms of syllabus and duration of course as prescribed by DOEACC.

Pay Scale

₹5200 - ₹20200 (PB-1) + Grade Pay: ₹2400 (pre-revised)

Selection Process

Eligible candidates will be required to appear in the examination as per the following scheme:

I. Preliminary Examination:
Part-A General Knowledge & Current Affairs - 50 Marks
Part-B General English(50 Multiple Choice Objective Type Questions in each part) - 50 Marks
Time: 50 Minutes

II. Main Examination:
i) Essay, Letter and Grammar: 100 Marks (2 Hours)
ii) Typing test at 40 w.p.m. in English/Hindi: 100 Marks (10 minutes)
